One Month

I can't believe that it's already time for Kinzlie's one month post. This time has just flown by so fast! I'm happy that she is growing and developing everyday but, I'm also sad that she's growing up as well.
Fun facts about Kinzlie at one month:
-She is a little snuggle bug and loves to cuddle up with mama and daddy
-She loves sucking on her hands, fingers, and sleeves at any chance she gets
-She has only had 3 bottles of formula but she chugs them like they're going out of style
-She is not a fan of getting her diaper changed at all
-Her favorite place to sleep (other than in mama or daddy's arms) is in her bouncy chair with the vibration on and tucked down into her "snuggle me" blanket
-She likes to stick out her tongue and peek out of one eye
-She definitely doesn't like tummy time but I think she's getting more used to it every day

Newborn Photoshoot

Last Saturday Jordan and I took Kinzlie to get her newborn photographs taken. I was kind of worried that she would hate it but luckily she did very well. We were there for about 3 and a half hours and only had to feed and change her once. She was so good to just sleep and pose for the photographer. I think her pictures turned out great! :)

Birth Story

Kinzlie Rae Allen

Tuesday October 25, 2011

7 pounds 9 ounces

19 inches long

Baby's First Bath

Snoozin' With Momma

It all started on Tuesday October 25, 2011 around 3:00pm. I was at work and had a feeling like I might have broke my water but I didn't know for sure. I looked online to see if that is what really happened, and it looked like that's what had happened. I still wasn't convinced so, I called my mom and she told me to call the doctor.

At 4:00pm I was finished with work so I walked to the bus, and called the doctor as I waited for the bus. The oncall nurse at my doctor's office said the best way to know if your water has broken or not is to go home, put on nothing but a rob and see if you are "dripping." So, that's what I did, and sure enough I was "dripping." After I knew for sure that my water had broken I called my mom to let her know that this could be the night the baby would be born. I also called Jordan to let him know that my water had broken and that we would be going to the hospital as soon as he got home from work.

When Jordan got home, at around 5:30pm, he took a quick shower, loaded up the car and headed to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at around 6:00pm, I had been feeling contractions since about 5:30pm so I was in quite a bit of pain at this point. The nurses took me to my room and had me change but after that we didn't see a nurse for about 45 minutes. I was having very strong contractions this entire time and really couldn't take the pain anymore so, I called the nurse to see if I could get some medication for the pain. She gave me some fentanyl and that didn't help much. After that she asked me if I wanted the epidural now because the anesthesiologist was going to a c-section and if I didn't get it now it could be 2 or 3 hours until he was able to come give it to me. So, I broke down and got the epidural and after that I felt 100 times better.

After I got the epidural everything seemed to go so fast! I had a doctor come in to break and drain the rest of my bag of water but, when he checked me he noticed that my water was completely broke and drained and that I was already dialated to a 10. The nurse then came in and told me that in an hour I could begin pushing, and when the babies head was in the right position she would call my doctor.

Well, the hour came, went and it was time to start pushing at around 9:30pm. I pushed for about an hour and twenty minutes when the nurse told me to stop pushing until my doctor arrived. Dr. Blackette walked into our room at 10:53pm, got her scrubs on, and sat down to catch the baby. I gave her one good push and Kinzlie was here (at 10:57pm). She was then cleaned up, tested, given her shots, and put into my arms. Ever since that moment I have been in love with my sweet baby girl.

Our first visitors at the hospital were Johnny and Denise (Jordan's dad and step-mom), then a few hours later my dad and little brother showed up :) The next day (Wednesday 10/26/2011) Kirsten (Jordan's lil sis), my mom and emma, Trissa and Spencer (Jordan's mom and step-dad), and Glade and Brenda (Jordan's Grandparents) all came to visit us. The next day (Thursday 10/27/2011) Dava and Dixon (Jordan's Cousin and his wife) came to visit and brought us a cute little blanket.

On Thursday October 27, 2011 at 10:00pm we got discharged from the hospital. We were so excited to finally get to take our precious little angle home with us. Jordan and I were so worried about driving with her that we took all the back roads home and drove very slow and careful. That was the first day of the rest of our lives and we honestly couldn't be any happier with out little bundle of Joy!

Hopefully the last Pregnancy Update

10 MORE DAYS!!
Yesterday, October 18, 2011, I had another doctor's appointment. I had it on Tuesday because my doctor is going out of town from Wednesday until Sunday. When I got checked she said that I am 4 cm dilated and 70% effaced and still at a -1. I was kind of bummed because I was hoping that I was farther along than that so, when she asked if I wanted my membranes stripped I said yes! That was probably the most painful thing that I've experienced during this whole pregnancy. She told me to watch for contractions and if they were happening consistently, or felt different than what I had already been feeling then I should go to the hospital. So, I went home feeling a little uncomfortable but very hopeful that this would help move things along.
Then, at about 6:30pm I started feeling some contractions but they weren't very consistent so I didn't really think anything of it. I had to go to a play for class at 7:30 so I went to that, and during the first half, 7:30-8:30, I marked dots on my hand for every contraction that I had. By 8:30 I had 13 dots on my hand. So, when Jordan came to pick me up I told him that I wanted to go home and shower and see what happens. During my shower and while I was getting ready I was still feeling contractions so we packed up the car and headed to wal-mart to walk around for a while and see what happened. We took about 3 laps around wal-mart and they continued so we headed over to the hospital.
We checked into the hospital at 10:00pm. I told them what I had been experiencing and so they had me change into the hospital rob, have my blood pressure checked (which was high), and started to monitor my contractions and the babies heart rate. I had my cervix checked and was at 4 cm dilated and 90% effaced which was good. The nurse told me to walk around for an hour and if I had dilated 1 cm in that hour I could stay otherwise they wanted me to go home and see what happened from there. Needless to say my cervix didn't dilate enough so they had me stick around for a while longer to make sure everything was still ok before they sent us home. My blood pressure was still elevated but by 12:00pm they sent us home, and told us to come back when the contractions got closer together (2-3minutes apart), and strong enough that I wasn't able to talk through them. So we left, went home, and went straight to bed.
Trying to sleep last night was an absolute joke, I kept tossing and turning but every way I laid I felt a pain or contraction. Finally I did get to sleep but it felt like right as I went to sleep my alarm went off to get up and make Jordan's lunch. When I woke up I think I had lost my mucus plug and so hopefully baby will be here within the next couple of days!
We already have a poll going on when people think she will arrive. The guesses range anywhere from the 20th (Judy) to the 25th (my mom) so we'll see when she wants to make her grand entrance :)

Another Pregnancy Update

Yesterday, Thursday October 13 I had another doctor's appointment. When I got there they tested my blood pressure, which was a little high so they had to retest it and it came back normal the second time which was good :) After that I went in to get checked by the doctor. She told me that I am dilated to a 3+, I am 70% effaced, and I baby went from being at a -2 last week to a -1 this week. She also asked me if I wanted to have my membranes stripped and I told her no. I just want this baby to come when she's good and ready, and as naturally as possible.
My doctor also told me that she is going to be out of town for about 5 days next week. I don't really know how I feel about that but I guess it's something I'll have to get over if the baby does decide to come during that time. I have never met the doctor that is going to be covering for her but, I have heard great things about him so that's a plus.
My next doctors appointment is next Tuesday the 18th right before my doctor leaves. I am kind of nervous about that appointment and excited too because I could be farther along than I am now, but if I am that will mean that I have to deliver with a different doctor.
Jordan is so ready for this little girl to be here so he can kiss and love on her. I on the other hand am perfectly content with her not showing up until her due date or even a little after :) We have her nursery pretty close to being done(I'll post pictures on my next post) and we've got all of the hospital bags all packed and ready to go. The only pregnancy symptoms that are bothering me at this point are a little bit of heartburn and my hands going numb every once in a while. Other than that I haven't really been having any problems or pains that I can't handle.

Pregnancy Update

Yesterday, Thursday October 6, 2011, I had my first weekly doctors appointment. While there I took a urine test, a strep B culture, and was checked to see if I was dilated. Surprisingly I am dilated to 3cm! The doctor was a little shocked that I am that far considering that I haven't really been feeling any contractions. The doctor told me that she is head down and in good birthing position. She also said that the baby could be here in as little as 2 weeks! Even though I am 37 weeks along, which is technically considered full term, that is both scary and exciting all at the same time. I know we're ready for her but, it is going to be such a drastic change in our lives and is going to take some time to get used to. I think Jordan is more excited than I am because he wants her to be her today but, I think I can wait a lot longer than that.
I did order her first halloween costume, a little ladybug costume, because I just have a feeling that she's going to be here in time for halloween. But, like everyone says, she'll get here when she's good and ready.
I also was able to have a little baby shower luncheon with the wonderful ladies that I work with this week. We went to Olive Garden for lunch and I got some fabulous gifts such as a bumbo and tray, purple crochet blanket, birp cloths and a car seat canopy. I am so grateful for all they do for me, and I am really going to miss all of them when the baby comes and I become a full time mommy.

According to thebump.com I am full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting her first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. She's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).

Baby Shower #2 and Ivory 50th Wedding Anniversary

On Saturday Jordan went on a quad ride with his dad and brother while I got the oil changed in the car and went to my second baby shower. My second baby shower was held at my church, and was put together by Trissa and Denise. We had a lot of fun playing games, eating a yummy lunch, and opening presents. I got a lot of things that I need for baby, which was very helpful :)

After that Jordan and I headed down to Fountain Green for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. We got there just in time to see them dance to their wedding song, cut the cake, and for us all to dance to the last song of the night. We had visiting with my family, and watching the fun video of their life together.

On Sunday we had breakfast with my parents in Nephi before heading back to Logan. Then, on the way home we stopped at IKEA to pick up some shelves and stuff for the nursery. We then stopped in at Babies'r'Us to pick up a few other things for the baby.

Pregnancy Update

Over the past 5 weeks Jordan and I have been attending a Child Birth Education series at the Logan Regional hospital. We have taken a breastfeeding class, infant safety, parenting, and a 6 week Lamaze class. We have been learning a lot from these classes, and I really think they are going to be an asset to us in the long run.
Last week in Lamaze we learned about medications and car seat safety. Jordan even got to wear the empathy belly. He had to wear it for about an hour and was so relieved to be able to take it off at the end. He was shocked at how uncomfortable it was and could hardly believe that that's how I've been feeling for most of my pregnancy. Since then he's been a lot more willing to rub my feet and back whenever I ask, which has been wonderful.
Jordan Modeling with his baby bump :)

Our Matching Baby Bumps :)

Baby's now the size of a honeydew!
Baby can recognize and react to simple songs...time to start practicing your lullabies! In fact, baby will recognize frequently sung tunes after birth and probably find them soothing. Less cute news: She now urinates about one pint per day. Get the diapers ready!

I can't believe that I am already 34 weeks and 4 day pregnant, it definitely doesn't seem like it's been that long! It's exciting to know that I am in the 8th month of pregnancy and that we only have about 38 days until we get to meet our darling daughter.

We have most of the nursery set up, we just need to do a little more decorating :) We also have all of the accessories that we are going to need for her arrival. I do have another baby shower this saturday so hopefully I'll get a few more cute little outfits to put her in when she gets here. I am also very excited to announce that we have picked out her coming home outfit and it is adorable (now all I've got to do it make her matching hair bow and headband and she'll be all set to come home from the hospital.)

We had so much fun playing games, opening presents, eating yummy food, and just chatting :) I got so much cute stuff for baby, and it all just made me more excited for her to arrive.

Our Painful Weekend

It all started Wednesday night when Jordan's jaw started hurting, it hurt him so bad that he was unable to sleep through the night. Thursday morning he wasn't feeling any better but decided to tough it out and go to work anyways ( he's such a trooper). But, when he got home that night he went straight to bed for the rest of the night. On Friday when he woke up his face was completely swollen on the right side, this is when I knew that he needed some medical attention. So, I called the dentist and set up an appointment for Saturday morning. Jordan stayed home from work and I didn't have to work so I stayed home and took care of him. Unfortuneately, half way through the day my right side started having a stabbing pain, I didn't think much of it and tried to just ignore it. After about 6 hours I couldn't handle the pain anymore and decided to take some tylenol, luckily it was fast acting and extra strength, and the pain was gone within a few minutes.
Saturday we woke up and took Jordan to the dentist. The dentist took some x-rays of his mouth and discovered that the pain was coming from an ingrown wisdom tooth, and the tooth right next to it that both had infections in them. So, he "popped" those two teeth out, gave us some prescriptions for pain and an antibiotics. We picked up the meds and headed home so that Jordan could rest.
On Sunday we woke up and went to church. Jordan was still in pain but he took a couple to pain pills and was able to make it through all three hours of church, but by the end of it he was definitley ready to go home. When we got home Jordan took some more medicine and started to feel better, but my back/side was starting to act up again. I delt with the pain for the rest of the day, taking 2 tylenol at 6:30pm and 2 more pills at 9:30pm and neither time helped with the pain. I tried to handle to pain for as long as possible but around 12:30am I had had all of the pain that I could handle and told Jordan that we needed to go to the emergency room to see what was wrong. I was worried that I might have a kidney infection or UTI and I definitley didn't want it to get any worse if that's what it was.
So, we got ready and headed to the emergency room. When we got there they took me straight to labor and delivery in a wheel chair. They set me up in a room, took a urine sample, and had me change into a hospital gown. They gave me an IV and gave me some medication to take the edge off. While there I also had an ultrasound and a few percocet for the pain. Come to find out, I had a few kidney stones, and there wasn't much they could do about it until I passed the stones. So, at around 8:30am Monday morning they sent me home with some pain medication and some antibiotics. We picked up the prescriptions and headed home. When we got home we went straight to bed and slept pretty much all day. When we woke up we both were feeling a little better and all was well. Hopefully our pain will stay under control enough so that we can both go back to school and work as soon as possible.

Pregnancy Update-30 Weeks

Today I had my 30 week checkup with my doctor. When I got there they checked my blood pressure, weight, and urine and all were right on track. After that I met with my doctor and she measured my belly and took the babies heart rate, and both were perfect :) I also asked her a few questions about what I should do when my water breaks, who she recommends for a pediatrician, and whether or not I need to preregister at the hospital. Overall it went really well and I can't wait for my next appointment in 2 weeks :)

Lately, I have been feeling baby kick and move around quite often and I have even been charting her daily kick counts. Unfortunatley though, no one else has been able to feel here move, not even Jordan. I have had 1 braxton hicks contraction but it was bad at all. Sleeping isn't causing too much discomfort execpt when I eat something too acidic and have heart burn. Jordan and I have already set up babies craddle in our room, and are preparing everyday for the arrive of our beautiful little bundle of joy :)

And, according to thebump.com, babies skin is smoothing out and her grasp is strong enough to grab ahold of a finger now. I am currently 30 weeks and 5 days along, and I have about 65 more days until baby gets here!

Bull Bonanza 2011

This past weekend Jordan and I decided to go up to the Franklin County Fair and Bull Bonanza. We went up Saturday around 5:00pm. When we got there we looked around at all of the fun craft and jewelry booths then took a seat and enjoyed some of the free entertainment. While there we ran into one of the guys that Jordan works with, Zach, and his family. We talked to them for a little while until the gates were open for the Bull Bonanza. We went into the arena right when the gates opened so that we could get good seats, which we did right by the chutes :) We had so much fun watching all of the bull riders, calf chasers, mutton busters, and mini bull riders. After the Bull Bonanza was over we decided to just go home instead of staying for the free hypnotist show (cause it was getting late and apparently we are getting old lol).

1 Year Anniversary

A few days ago Jordan and I celebrated our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary! We've decided that we'll switch off every other year of who is going to do the planning and this year was my turn. I knew that we couldn't do anything too fancy because of school, work, and trying to get ready for the baby but I still wanted Jordan to be surprised and do something special.
So, I decided that we would go down to Salt Lake for the night, but I wanted Jordan to be surprised so I had him wear a blindfold the whole way down. I even went the back way through Ogden so that he'd be really confused :)
When we got to the Salt Lake we checked into our hotel, The Radisson because that's one of Jordan's favorite hotels. Then when we were in the parking garage I let him take off the blindfold, he was so confused and thought we were in Park City lol! Then we went up to our room and I sat up everything all fancy while Jordan was in the bathroom. The "theme" was Our Love is Timeless so I made him an invitation and put it in his lunch box earlier that day. I also took our wedding scrapbook and wedding video so we could watch it that night. We also made a little time capsule with a love note to each other, an All about me quiz, a flip book of pictures of us, and a few other little things in it. We also played a matching game that I had made that had pictures of our adventures on one card and the details about what we were doing on the other card. (I got these ideas from http://www.thedatingdivas.com/tara/our-love-is-timeless/)
While in Salt Lake we went to Crown Burger, the Hogle Zoo, and Smith and Edwards :) The next day we decided to cut into our wedding cake that had been sitting in our freezer for a year. We did eat a little bit of it but it was quit frostbitten and didn't taste very good. But, we did keep up the tradition and that's what counts :) We had so much fun just relaxing and hanging out together! I can't wait till next year to see what Jordan's going to plan (he already told me I have to wear a blindfold no matter where we go lol)

Swensen Family Reunion 2011

Jordan and I had received the invitation to attend the Swensen Family Reunion about a month before the reunion. We were originally planning on going until my car decided to throw a check engine light. We were both worried about driving it so far on the freeway without getting it fixed so we had decided not to go. Then, Saturday night (the night before the reunion) around 6:00pm my dad called to see if we were going to the reunion, we told him probably not and told him the reason. He said we should come any ways and if anything happened to the car he would help us pay for it. So, we decided to go that night, packed up, and were on the way down to Fountain Green in about 20 minutes. Luckily my little car made it there and back home without any problems.
Sunday morning we woke up and headed up the canyon. When we got there we visited with our family, ate a yummy dutch oven dinner, watched a video of my great-grandparents, and roped the little cousins. Jordan and I had so much fun seeing everyone and playing "cowboy" with the cousins. I'm really glad we were able to go and everything worked out the way it was supposed to :)

Pregnancy Update

Yesterday I had another doctor's appointment with my OBGYN to check on the baby. I also had to drink the glucose drink to test for gestational diabetes. I was really worried about having to drink that sugary drink and getting my blood drawn. But, after I drank that drink I realized it simply tasted like a flat sprite which wasn't too bad. An hour after I drank it I went to my doctor's appointment where I had to do a urine sample and give a small sample of my blood. Luckily, I was making a big deal over nothing, and everything went off without a problem. When I saw the doctor she told me that I was in my third trimester already! She also measured my stomach and checked the babies heart beat. Her heart is beating at 150bmp which the doctor said was right where it should be :) She also told me that Jordan needs to look into getting the adult pertussis to protect himself and the baby from getting whooping cough.
My next appointment is in 3 weeks, and after that they will be every two weeks! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by, only 85 days until my due date. Before we know it she's going to be here!
Lately I have been feeling great! I haven't had any nausea or vomiting either. I am sleeping pretty easily still which is great :) I also haven't been having any strange food cravings although I do always want to eat fruit and sweet things like that :)

Preston Night Rodeo

This past weekend Jordan and I went up to Preston, Idaho. We went to his 5 year class reunion where we had some yummy food and sub zero ice cream. We also talked to some of his classmates and see what everyone is up to theses days. Then, we went to the sidewalk sales that they were having for the Preston Night Rodeo. We saw a lot of cute stuff but nothing we couldn't live without!
After that we went over to Jordan's mom and grandma's house to get some chairs for the parade. We watched the parade with Kirsten, which was pretty good, then we caught some dinner at Big J's with Johnny and Denise. Then, we went to the big rodeo :) Luckily we got reserved seating though because it was packed! We had great seats that were right next to the chutes, which was awesome! The rodeo was great and went until 11:00pm. We had a blast and can't wait to go again next year! :)

Blog Challenge-Day 30

Day 30 - Your favorite song

I have a lot of favorite songs but the first one that comes to mind is by Jason Aldean and it's called Dirt Road Anthem.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb9q1ScC4cg

P.S. I think Jason Aldean is extremely attractive!!

Blog Challenge-Day 29

Day 29 - In this past month, what have you learned

In the past month I have learned that I need to start being more outgoing so that I can meet more people and have more friends lol! I also have learned that I am pretty lucky to have such a wonderful life and an awesome husband to share my life with. The last thing that I learned is that it is pretty difficult to blog every single day, and I have a new respect for the people that take the time and energy to blog every day.

Blog Challenge-Day 28

Day 28 - A picture of you from last year and now, how have you changed since then?

^^^One year ago^^^

^^^This year^^^

The picture on the top is from about a year ago (it's one of our engagement pictures), and the picture on the bottom is of Jordan and I at the Manti temple a week or so ago.

I have changed a lot since the first picture was taken, the biggest change being the fact that I'm pregnant now. I feel like I have also gotten more mature and grown up than I was a year ago. Jordan is still as handsome as ever!

Blog Challenge-Day 27

Day 27 - Why are you doing this 30 day challenge

I decided to do the 30 day challenge because I thought it would be fun to do. I also needed to switch up the blog a little bit from the weekend updates and I saw a few of my other blog buddies doing this challenge and so I decided to hop on board!

P.S. I'm not going to be too terribly sad when it's over though!

Blog Challenge-Day 24

Day 24 - A letter to your parents

I think this is kind of a personal one, and since my parents don't really read my blog I think I'll just write them a letter and mail it to them. Sorry for being boring on this one!

Blog Challenge-Day 23

Day 23 - Something you crave for a lot

Lately, I've been craving a lot of sweet things like cookies, popsicles, and chocolate mostly. I've read a lot of articles and research stating that while pregnant with a girl you'll usually crave sweets and if you're having a boy you crave salty snacks, so this is my excuse for the time being lol :)

Blog Challenge-Day 22

Day 22 - What makes you different from everyone else

This is a difficult one for me because I don't think I'm really that different from everyone else. I guess I would have to say my personality and my sense of humor. I am a pretty positive person, I enjoy life and try to live it to the fullest. I am also a pretty quite/stick to myself kind of person.

Blog Challenge-Day 21

Day 21 - A picture of something that makes you happy

There are a lot of things that make me happy but, here are my top 3 :)

1. Pepsi! Nothing makes me happier than a nice cold vanilla pepsi over crushed ice! YUM!!

2. My camera, it's a Canon Rebel Xti and I absolutely love it! I love being able to take fun and creative pictures, then coming home and attempting to edit them in Photoshop or Picnik! I have taken a class on how to use all of the different functions of it, but it's going to take a lot of practice before I am any good at it!

3. Lastly, are two of my favorite comedy routines. They are Kevin James: Sweat the Small Stuff, and Bill Cosby Himself. I love these two so much! I laugh until I cry every time I see them (I think I've seen both of them about 10 times each and they never get old :))

Note: These are the "things" that make me happy but as for people that make me happy, there are a lot more. These people include Jordan, our little baby, and all of the rest of my family and friends as well :)

Lamb Day/Ute Stampede/Ivory Family Reunion

This past weekend Jordan and I went down to Fountain Green, Utah for Lamb Days and the Ivory Family Reunion.
We got to Fountain Green around 1:00pm had some lunch and just hung out and visited with the family for the rest of the day.
The next day, Saturday, was Lamb Day!! So we got up around 9ish and got ready for the parade :)
After the parade we had some yummy lamb sandwiches then went over to Manti to visit the temple and get some pictures.

Then, we went back to my grandmas house, changed our clothes and went to the Ute Stampede in Nephi.

^^^^^^^Jordan's First Cowboy Hat :)^^^^^^^
Sunday was the Ivory Family Reunion at my grandmas house. We got up, got ready, and started getting ready for everyone to come over. We had brunch then learned about our great grandma and grandpa Claire and Donna Ivory.
We also got to see some of the quilts that she quilted all by hand, they were amazing. Then we learned how to quilt by hand, which took forever! After that we packed up our stuff and headed home :)

Blog Challenge-Day 20

Day 20 - Someone you see yourself marrying or being with in the future

This is an easy one...my husband and best friend Jordan D. Allen. We have been together for almost 3 years and married for almost 1 year. I love him more than words can say and I honestly don't know what I'd do without him. He is my bestest friend and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together! :)

Blog Challenge-Day 18

Day 18 - Plans/Dreams/Goals you have

Plans: Today my plans include finishing work, ordering some pictures, going grocery shopping, cleaning the house, and making dinner.

Dreams: My dreams include being a SAHM, Owning my own home and Dodge Trucks, and being Happy :)

Goals: Currently my goals include little things like drinking 8 cups of water a day, and being healthy for the baby. Long term goals include going to the temple to be sealed to my husband, and losing weight after this baby gets here :)

Blog Challenge-Day 17

Day 17 - Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why
I think it'd be fun to switch lives with Kim Kardashian for a day. I would love to have that kind of money that I could just waste on whatever I wanted and not feel guilty about it. I also think it would be fun to see the inner workings of a celebrity and what goes on in their everyday life. But I think if I were to trade places with her for any longer than a day I would get too stressed out and it wouldn't be fun any more.

Blog Challenge-Day 13

Day 13 - A letter to someone who has hurt you recently

Sorry but I don't really have anything to put for this one?? This could be due to 2 different reasons. 1) I don't go around people that I know will hurt me 2) I don't really get hurt by others that easily.

6 Month Pregnancy Update

According to thebump.com, baby's skin is becoming more opaque as the fat starts to pack on. And, thanks to the formation of small capillaries, her newly thick skin is taking on a fresh pink glow.

I am starting to feel her kick a lot more now and that is so exciting! I hope that Jordan will be able to start feeling here move here soon because I know he really wants to, but she seems to be sleeping every time he tries. We have about 110 days until we get to meet our little bundle of joy and we can hardly wait!

Yesterday I made a few more hair accessories for her! I love making them and can't wait till she gets here so we can try them all on her :)
