Going to church every Sunday was hard enough when it was just the two of us but, now that we have the little misses it's just that much harder. Not only do we have to worry about getting ourselves all dressed and ready to go we've got to get Kinzlie all ready, and her diaper bag packed.
Well, this past Sunday Kinzlie was being a little fussy during sunday school so we took her out and had a little photo shoot/play time in the hall. Luckily, she got all her wiggles out and was pretty good during Sacrament meeting.
Hopefully, I'll be able to entertain her better as she gets older so we can make it through all of our church meetings :) But, in the mean time we'll just have to keep taking little play breaks and getting more fun pictures.

Saturday was Kinzlie's 4 month birthday :) She is growing up so fast, and learning so much every day! She is such a good little baby, and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.
I can't believe that a year ago today Jordan and I found out that we were going to be blessed with this little angel. We were so excited to be parents, and now we couldn't be happier that she is here with us!
Here are some fun facts about Kinzlie at 4 months:
-She sleeps like a pro through the night
-She thinks it's funny when I tickle her belly with her toes
-She also like to play patty-cake with her feet
-Kinzlie loves her daddy and gets the biggest smile when he comes home from work
-She still hates tummy time but can balance on her belly...she doesn't seem like she wants to roll over though
-She seems like she wants to start eatting solid foods, but I don't know if I'm quite ready for that
-Kinzlie mimics the things we do like blowing raspberries, sticking her tongue out, and tries to make the sounds that we make
-She loves bath time
-Her daily schedule goes something like this; 7am wake up for a feeding then back to sleep, 10am wake up for another feeding and back to sleep, noon wake up, bum change and feeding, then play with momma until about 4pm when she goes down for a little snooze, 5pm wake up bum change and feeding, then she plays with momma and daddy until bedtime around 10pm.

This year Jordan, Kinzlie, and I had a great Valentines Day. I decided that since we were going to go out that I would surprise Jordan by decorating the Jeep while he was at work. I made him a candy gram poster, stuck hearts on his window that all said reasons why I loved him, then tied a heart balloon to his antenna. He was so shocked when he got to it, and he said all of the other guys were jealous!
After work he brought me home a dozen roses and this Juicy Couture necklace that I've been wanting for a while :) I gave him a black on black Boston had and he loved it! After we exchanged gifts we went and got a pizza and rented a movie (I'm not a big fan of going out on Valentines, waiting in lines, and dealing with all those people especially with a baby). So, we decided to stay in and spend Kinzlie's first Valentines Day at home as a family. :)
P.S. The movie we rented was Captain American and it was actually really good!

This week for my pinterest projects I decided to make turtle burgers and rhinestone letters for Kinzlie's room. The turtle burgers were an all beef patty with sharp cheese covered in a basket weave of bacon. Then the 'arms,' 'legs,' 'head,' and 'tail' were made out of all beef hotdogs. These burgers were a huge hit at my house but they are a lot of food. Plus they are kind of like a mini heart attack so, we probably won't have them very often even though they were very delicious. :) Then I made rhinestone letters for Kinzlie's room. I took wooden letters that I found at hobby lobby, painted them white, then glued on rhinestones to every letter. These took quite a while to make but I think they were well worth the time because they turned out absolutely beautiful!

Well, since Kinzlie was born Jordan and I haven't been going on our weekly date nights. Mostly because I'm a little over protective, and I don't really like to leave her with any one. But, last week Jordan talked me into leaving her with his mom for a few hours while we went to dinner. It was hard to leave her at first but I knew she was in good hands so that made it a little easier. We decided to go to dinner at the Olive Garden. It was so nice to just relax and chat with Jordan without having to worry about a crying baby. After dinner we decided to do a little shopping, and what did we buy? Baby Clothes of coarse! Then we went back to Jordan's Mom's house, picked up the baby and went home.
We had so much fun that we decided to do it again this weekend. We left Kinzlie with Jordan's step mom and went to dinner and bowling. Then, on Saturday we went to lunch and to an Aggie basketball game.We played New Mexico State and lost but it was still a fun game to watch.
I definitely think we'll keep up with our weekly date nights as long as we can find a good babysitter :)
