A Weekend in Fountain Green

This past weekend Jordan and I made a trip down to Fountain Green for my cousin's wedding. We left Saturday after Jordan got off of work. We stopped in Del Taco for some yummy chicken soft tacos and while we were there we hit 90,000 miles on my car. We did have to drive the last little bit in a parking lot. We drove in circles until the speedometer was right on 90,000. All of the people in the parking lot thought we were crazy but we had to get it just right :)

We were so excited :)

When we got to FG we had to start getting ready for the wedding right away. We all got dressed up in our sunday best and heading up to my Aunt's house, where the wedding was going to be held.

My cousin Weston and his new wife Saydee had a beautiful ceremony and reception. Seeing them getting married and being so happy together just makes me that more excited about my wedding :)

Then, after the wedding Jordan and I decided to go on a little walk up by the springs in FG. This is a really special place to my parents because it's where my dad proposed to my mom, so we figured we would go and check it out.

Registering at Bed Bath and Beyond

So yesterday Jordan and I decided to go register for our wedding. We decided to go to Bed Bath and Beyond be cause they have a large variety of household items. We made a list before we went so that we wouldn't go "price gun crazy," and we stuck to our list pretty well. We were able to find things at many different price ranges, from 2.99 all the way up to 449.99. We both had a blast picking out stuff for our new life together, and registering just made the wedding seem that much more real to the both of us. We are both so excited to get married and can hardly even wait until Ã…ugust 14th!
Here is our top 5 from our wedding registry.

5. Kate Spade Belle Boulevard 5-Piece Place Setting and matching fine china set.

4. Eclipse Chocolate 54" x 78" Fabric Shower Stall Curtain and matching bathroom set.

3. Yasmine Duvet Cover by Kas, 100% Cotton and matching bedding set.

2. Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 12-Piece Set

1. KitchenAid® ProLine™ 6-Quart Stand Mixer - Black

Our Wonderful Weekend

Jordan and I had a great weekend. It all started on friday, when we went to Summerfest here in Logan. We walked up from Jordan's dads house, then walked around and saw all of the fun booths of beautiful art, and jewelry. We had a lot of fun, and Jordan even bought me a beautiful watch...which I love! Then we headed back down to Johnny's house, and on the way back we spotted these beautiful flowers that I just had to take a picture of. When we got to Johnny's house we just hung out with him and Denise for a little while and talked about bridal shower stuff, it was a blast, and a great beginning to our wonderful weekend :)

Then, on Saturday we both had to work, which was no fun. But, after we went up to the Derby in Preston. We even got to take Johnny's Jeep up there which was really exciting. Jordan loved driving in it, and I loved riding in it. This was only the second Jeep I've ever rode in ever!

When we got to Preston we stopped by Jordan's Mom's house first for a little visit. When we got there Trissa, Spencer, Taylor, and Tressy were all there. So we talked to them for a while and played with Tressy, she is such a cutie. Jordan is just so good with kids, and I love it :) Tressy kept on trying to eat Jordans necklace, and he just thought that was the funniest thing ever! Then Dava and Dixon came over and we talked with them for a while before heading to the derby.

After the derby we went over to Big J's for some dinner. The food there was delicious, and we even got a shake! Then we hoped in the Jeep and headed back to Logan.

On Sunday I had to work up at the lodge which was a bummer, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Monday, we got to go to Lagoon with Johnny, Denise, Taylor, Rachel, Skyler, and Brooke. We left at 9:30am and got back around 8:30pm. We had a blast riding all of the rides, and playing at Lagoon a Beach. My favorite rides are Wicked and the Space Scrambler, and Jordan's are Wicked and the Samari. We also got to race the go-karts which was a blast. It was a beautiful day and we both got some sun :)

Tux Shopping

So yesterday Jordan and I went shopping for his tux for the wedding. We went to two places in Logan. The first place was completely over priced and didn't have the right color of purple for his vest and tie. Then, the second place we went was just perfect. The prices were great and they had the exact color of purple that I was looking for :) So, we had Jordan fitted for his tux, and had him try on the jacket. He looked great and we both really liked the style that he picked out. We then got the groomsmen ties and the ties for the fathers all at the same place. They all look great and are going to match perfectly. I am so excited to see how everything turns out. I can't wait for our wedding...less than 2 months now!

Our Engagement Story

On April 17 Jordan and I went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant here in Logan. We had a yummy chinese dinner then we each picked out fortunes. Mine said, "Your dearest wish will come true." I thought that was really cute then I put it down on the table and we left the restaurant.
The next day Jordan asked me if I wanted to go up to his mom's house in Preston, ID to have some Sunday dinner and then go on a quad ride with his brother and his cousin. So I of coarse said yes and we headed up later that afternoon. When we got to his mom's house we had a wonderful turkey dinner and then left for his grandpa's house to get the quads and go for a ride.
When we got there we all jumped on the quads and took off.
We were all riding along when all of the sudden the quad that Jordan and I were on started slowing down. I asked Jordan what was wrong with it and he said not to worry about it. Then he pulled over to a little patch of trees on top of the mountain over looking the valley. He then shut down the quad, jumped off and began walking around. By this point I just thought he had to go to the bathroom or something.
After he had walked around for a minute and found the perfect spot he asked me to go stand by him. I jumped off the quad and did as I was told. He then asked me if I could remember what my fortune had said last night. I told him and I didn't. Then he got down on one knee and told me he wanted to make my dearest wish come true. He then pulled out a little black box, opened it and asked me to marry him. Inside the box was my beautiful ring and the fortune from our dinner the night before. I, of coarse, said yes, jumped up and down, and gave him a big ol' kiss. He then placed the ring on my finger, and we got back on the quad to catch up with the rest of the gang.
We both wanted our moms to be the first to know the good news, so we pretended like nothing happened the whole way back to Jordan's mom's house. That was definitely the hardest part because we couldn't stop smiling. :)
