A few weeks ago Jordan and I got to babysit his niece, Raeyne, overnight. We had so much fun playing with her, and taking care of her. She slept over at our house too because the next day was Jordan's sister, Kirsten's, district cheer competition in Pocatello, Idaho. So, we all had to wake up very early, 6am :(, so that we could get ready, get Raeyne ready, and be in Preston, Idaho at 7:30am. Getting Jordan and me ready wasn't too hard because that's what I always do, but trying to get Raeyne ready was a whole different ballgame. Not only did we have to wake her up, change her diaper, put her clothes on, and do her hair. But, we also had to gather up all of the things that she might need throughout the day into her diaper bag. It was a bit of a hectic morning but we made it through alright.
Then, when we were all ready we heading up to Preston, and made it right in time (we were riding with his grandparents so we had to be on time). After the hour and a half roadtrip up to Pocatello we found the competition, and made it in the doors right at 9:00am, when it started. We had a lot of fun watching all of the cheer stunts and routines, and playing with Raeyne.
When the competition was over we headed over to Applebee's for lunch, which was so yummy! After lunch we packed up the car and headed home. We were all so exhausted that we slept the whole way back. We were only home for an hour or so when Rachel came to pick up Raeyne. We were sad that she had to leave, but happy that we got the chance to tend her. Watching Raeyne really made me want a child of our own someday :)
