Kirsten's Grad and Memorial Day Weekend

On thursday Jordan and I went to his little sister's graduation in Preston, Idaho. They only had about 150 students in their graduating class, so luckily the graduation was short and sweet. I had a lot of fun going back to Jordan's old stomping grounds and meeting some of his friends and teachers from Preston. I even got to meet his best friend Addison and his wife which was fun :) They had a chance to catch up with one another and reminisce on old times, baseball games, and high school.

Then, on Saturday I had a photography workshop/class in Ogden so Jordan and I headed down there for the day. The class was only a couple of hours so we had the rest of the day to shop, relax, and look for stuff for the baby.

On Sunday we went out to dinner with Kirsten and her boyfriend Landon at Formosa. Then, we went to the movie with Jordan's dad and stepmom. We went to see the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 in 3D and it was actually pretty good :)

Monday, we did some cleaning and organizing of the 2nd bedroom/nursery so we have it all ready for the baby when it gets here. Then we went to the Hangover Part 2 with Lynn and Jess. I wasn't a fan of the second one but it was still fun to get out of the house and hang out with some friends.

*The picture on the left is Phase I of the nursery. As you can see we still have a lot of work to do before it's baby ready, but it's a work in progress :)

**We find out what the gender of the baby is in exactly a week!

Bentlie's 1st Birthday/Pregnancy Update

On Wednesday, May 18, our friends daughter turned 1. So, on Saturday they had a birthday party for her. They had a bar-b-que then opened presents and had cake and ice cream. We had a lot of fun seeing how much she has grown, and watching her open her presents and eat her cake. She is such a cutie :)

Pregnancy Update: 17 Weeks

Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. His umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes now feature one-of-a-kind prints.

I have been feeling pretty good so far. I did get a sick on Thursday but I don't think that had anything to do with the pregnancy because I was all better the next day. We have been stocking up on white everything, onesies, diapers, socks etc. until we know the sex of the baby :) So far everything has been wonderful!

Sunny Weekend~21st Birthday~Pregnancy Update

Here in Cache Valley we never really have a set time for spring to begin or end. One day it's snowing and the next it's sunny and beautiful. So, whenever we do have a nice spring day everyone is outside taking advantage of it (Which is exactly what Jordan and I did this weekend)

On Friday I went with my work down to lagoon in Farmington, Utah. We had Physics day at Lagoon all day long, leaving at 6:45am and returning to Logan around 7:00pm. I had a lot of fun at Lagoon, even though I couldn't ride any of the rides. It was just a beautiful day to be outdoors. That same day Jordan had a company golf tournament in Salt Lake. He played pretty well and his team took 3rd place.

Then, on Saturday Jordan didn't have to work so we decided to have some more fun in the sun. We started out the day looking at garage sales all over the valley. I think we went a little too late because all of the "good stuff" was taken. So we decided to head on over to Burgerz Express in Smithfield to grab some lunch. After lunch we went grocery shopping, then went out to the driving range. We only hit a half bucket of balls but we had a great time doing it. Then, we went to the Willow park zoo to get a snow cone and look at all the fun animals. We had a lot of fun, and I hope we will be able to do more fun summer activities sometime soon :)

On Sunday I woke up to breakfast in bed made by my wonderful hubby. He made pancakes, eggs, hash browns, sausage, and orange juice and it was all so yummy. After breakfast we got ready and went to church. Then, later that night we went over to Johnny and Denise's house for my family birthday dinner, and to watch a movie. We had so much fun hanging out with the family and playing with Raeyne.

Monday was my 21st birthday!! The ladies at my work made me a yummy chocolate cake, and took me to lunch at the olive garden, which was so delicious!! Then, later that day Jordan and I met up with our friends at the White Owl and had dinner. Jordan got me two wedding bands and a white leather Dooney and Bourke handbag for my birthday which I love!! Over all I had a very wonderful birthday and I can't wait for next year :)

Pregnancy Update
Tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean she can now pick up your voice. A few more minuscule changes: Eyebrows, lashes, and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming.

I went to the doctor on Thursday and was able to hear the baby's heart beat again. It is at 150 beats per minute which the doctor says is just where it should be. I have my next doctor's appointment on June 7th, and at that time we should be able to find out the sex of our baby which we are both very excited about. :)

One Exciting Weekend

This Weekend we had a lot of fun and exciting things happen.

1. On Friday April 29th, 2011 at 4:00am a Prince and Princess were married in England. I didn't wake up to watch the wedding but I did look up her dress later in the day and it was beautiful!

2-Jordan and I decided to rent a movie called Girl, Interupted from Hasting's and have a little pizza and a movie night. The movie was very interesting and overall pretty good :)

3-On Saturday Jordan's brother Skyler invited us over for dinner and games. We had steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans which were all delicious. Then we played BUZZ on the playstation. We had a lot of fun and got to meet some new people as well :)

4- Then, on Sunday Jordan and I went to see Fast Five at Stadium 6. We got there just in time to catch the first preview. We both loved this movie, and can't wait until the soundtrack and the movie come out so we can buy them both. I think I likes this one almost as much as I liked the first one! FYI: I LOVE Vin Diesel!!

5. Lastly, on Sunday night as I was watching the Celebrity Apprentice there was an interruption on the tv saying that the President had an announcement to make. We waited to see what the big announcement was and...Osama Bin Laden had been killed by US Navy SEALs. This was such good news to us because that means that we are one step closer to stopping terrorism.

Easter Sunday

This year for Easter we decided to stay in town and have Easter with Jordan's family instead of going to my Grandmas for Easter.

We began our Easter Sunday by attending the Willow Valley Family ward. We haven't quite decided whether we want to go to the family ward or the married student ward yet, so we gave the family ward a try.

After church we changed our clothes and headed up to Jordan's grandparents house in Preston, Idaho. We had a yummy Easter dinner there and visited with the family. Then, after dinner we went over to Jordan's mom's house for some Easter egg hunting. After we were all done hunting we all opened up our eggs, and I found out that I was the Grand Prize Winner! So, I won a huge easter egg full of every different kind of candy imaginable...it was so much fun!

Later, we went shooting with Jordan's step dad and his family out out the shooting range. We both took our 22's and shot those for a while, then we got to shot some 270's and 223's which kick a lot more than our little 22's but they were still fun to shoot. We both had a blast shooting and bonding with the family.

Lately....

So, lately I've been feeling a lot like this:

and doing a lot of this:

and eating a lot of these:

and looking at a lot of these:

And reading books like these:

and all of this because I'm going to have one of these:

somewhere around October 29, 2011 :)

I had my first official doctor's appointment on April 12. I got to hear the heartbeat and see it moving and squirming around in my belly, I could hardly believe it! The doctor said that it's just the right size and that it has a good strong heart beat. Jordan was a little bummed that he didn't get to go because he had to work but I told him that he can go to my 20 week appointment when we get to find out whether IT is a he or a she. We are both so excited to be bringing a beautiful baby into the world and to finally be parents :)

The Joys of House Hunting

So, the end of March I was on a website that had a calculator to figure out what your mortgage would be on different houses. I was playing around will it to see if Jordan and I could even afford it when all of the sudden I was asked to enter some information, I did because I figured it wouldn't hurt anything. The next day I received a phone call from a mortgage agency asking if I wanted to come in and get some more information, so I did.
When I first went into the mortgage agency I didn't really think that Jordan and I would even be approved for a home because we're so young and our credit wasn't the best, or so I thought. But, when they pulled up our credit they told us that it was a lot better than I had originally thought :) And that we were pre-approved to buy a house!! I was in complete shock and I was excited beyond belief so I had to call Jordan and give him the good news! We were both so happy! :)
Then, a couple of weeks later a realtor called and asked if we were ready to start looking for a home, of course we both said yes!! We've looked at about 5 houses so far, and we are going to look at some more tomorrow :) But, I never knew how excited and stressful house hunting can be! There are so many things to consider when looking for a house that I had never even thought about! Right now we are trying to decided if we want an older, bigger home that's not as updated, or a small home that is updated, or a town house or a condo. Plus, we don't even know where we want to live yet. So, there's a lot of decisions to make but I'm sure we'll pick the right house for our family and our situation! Wish us Luck! :)
